Women’s Retreat in Vermont for Your 20s and 30s
For women in their twenties and thirties navigating change, questions of identity, direction, and the early transitions of adulthood.
STOWE, VERMONT 19TH TO 22ND MARCH, 2026
Early adulthood can be full of possibility, but also uncertainty. Life can feel fast, expectations build, and it is not always easy to hear your own voice beneath the noise.
You may be making decisions about work, relationships, identity, or direction, without yet feeling fully anchored in who you are becoming.
This retreat offers a thoughtful pause, creating space to step back, breathe, and reconnect with yourself in a grounded, honest way.
Designed for women in their twenties and thirties, the experience brings together guided reflection, emotional skill-building, meaningful conversation, and the steadying clarity that comes from time in nature. It is a supportive, nurturing space to better understand your inner world, explore what matters to you, and build confidence in the path ahead.
Athara Retreats by Seoka Salstrom, PhD, offers an opportunity to do just that.
A retreat for women who want to understand themselves and their direction more clearly.
Your twenties and thirties can be exciting and expansive, yet also disorienting. There is so much possibility, but also pressure. You may feel the expectation to be certain, decisive, or settled, even while your internal world is still shifting and taking shape. You might sense a quiet change unfolding within you without yet having the words for it.
This retreat creates a space for you to explore who you are becoming, what you value, and how you relate to your thoughts and emotions when things feel unclear. With a balance of reflection, gentle structure, and the calming presence of the Vermont landscape, you will have room to make sense of the questions emerging in your life right now.
It is a grounded, experiential retreat for women who want to deepen self-understanding, build emotional awareness, and make choices that feel aligned with the person they are becoming.
This retreat is designed to support you through the questions and transitions that shape early adulthood.
Through grounded psychological insight, experiential learning, and practical tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), you will learn to understand your mind more clearly, relate differently to difficult thoughts and feelings, and develop a steadier internal foundation.
This is not therapy, and it is not a wellness escape. It is a warm, emotionally intelligent space where you can slow down, reconnect with yourself, and explore your next steps with clarity and confidence.
The retreat focuses on clarity, emotional awareness, confidence, and reconnecting with what matters as you navigate early adulthood.
You will explore the patterns that shape your thoughts and behavior, understand how to work with self-doubt and comparison, and begin to recognize what supports your growth and what may be holding you back.
Guided by Seoka Salstrom, PhD, the experience balances depth with ease, offering room to explore meaningful questions while feeling grounded, supported, and understood. It is a space where women can step away from external expectations and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels honest, compassionate, and spacious.
Exploring the Emotions and Questions That
Shape Early Adulthood
-
Your twenties and thirties often bring questions that are difficult to explore in the middle of daily life. This retreat gives you time and space to notice what you are feeling, understand patterns in your thinking, and make sense of the shifts happening within you.
Through guided reflection, experiential exercises, and gentle facilitation, you will begin to see your inner world more clearly. You will learn how your mind responds to uncertainty and how to work with difficult thoughts and emotions in steady, empowering ways. Nothing is pushed. Everything unfolds at your own pace.
-
Together we explore:
developing emotional awareness
quieting comparison and self-doubt
reconnecting with your values
relating differently to difficult thoughts and feelings
understanding avoidance patterns
widening your emotional range
grounding yourself when life feels unclear
recognizing what supports your growth
These themes are approached with warmth, clarity, and practical guidance.
-
The Vermont landscape offers space, quiet, and perspective — the kind that is difficult to access in everyday life. Nature softens internal noise and creates room for steadiness and clarity.
A walk through the woods, a moment overlooking the mountains, or sitting in open space helps you hear yourself more easily. The environment becomes a grounding companion throughout the retreat.

Bringing Love and Science Together
with Compassion and Humor
Seoka Salstrom, PhD, is a clinical psychologist with more than 20 years of experience supporting adults of all ages through the questions and uncertainties that shape their lives. As the leader of the Becoming You retreat, she blends humor and fun with evidence-based tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and grounded, practical guidance to help you understand yourself more clearly and relate to your inner world with steadiness and compassion.
Her approach is warm, thoughtful, and accessible. Through experiential workshops, reflective practices, and supportive conversation, you will develop emotional awareness and psychological flexibility that strengthen your ability to move through early adulthood with confidence.
ACT emphasizes presence, values, and learning to meet discomfort with curiosity rather than avoidance. In a coaching and retreat setting, ACT is not therapy; it is a supportive, collaborative process that helps you move forward with clarity, intention, and trust in your own direction.
